Our purpose
Sarcoma can arrive with unfamiliar language, complicated appointments, and a sense that useful information is scattered across too many places. This project brings practical preparation tools, carefully sourced explanations, and routes to support into one calm, accessible home.
What we are—and what we are not
- We are an independent patient-led project, not a hospital, clinical service, or emergency service.
- We provide general educational information and practical worksheets, not diagnosis or treatment recommendations.
- We identify sources and review dates on health-information pages.
- We do not claim independent medical review unless a qualified reviewer is named on the page.
- We do not currently present the project as a registered charity.
Who is behind the work
The site is being developed by patients and supporters. Contributor biographies and professional credentials will be published only after the individuals have approved the wording and their roles have been verified. Until then, editorial responsibility is held by the Living with Sarcoma project team.
How trust is handled
Our editorial policy explains sourcing, corrections, lived-experience content, and medical review. Our privacy page explains exactly what the current static site does—and does not—collect.
Help improve the project
If you spot an error, unclear wording, or an accessibility barrier, please tell us. Corrections are part of earning trust.
