Source standards
For medical and care information, we prioritize:
- Government health agencies and public clinical databases.
- Specialist sarcoma services, hospitals, and recognized professional guidance.
- Established patient organizations with transparent review processes.
- Peer-reviewed research when it is necessary to explain an emerging topic.
Health-information pages include a source list and review date. Links are checked during scheduled content reviews.
Authorship and medical review
Pages identify the responsible editorial team. When a qualified clinician independently reviews a page, the reviewer’s name, relevant credential, role, and review date will be shown. Until that happens, the page explicitly says that independent medical review has not been completed.
Plain language and scope
We summarize sources in plain language without changing their meaning. We avoid telling an individual what treatment to choose, estimating prognosis, or interpreting personal symptoms. Readers are directed to their care team for decisions specific to them.
Lived experience
Personal stories are valuable but are not medical evidence. Stories will be published only with permission, clearly attributed when consent allows, and labeled as individual experience. We do not present one person’s outcome as typical or predictive.
Corrections and updates
Substantive corrections will be made promptly and the page’s review date will be updated. To report a concern, email [email protected] with the page address and the issue you found.
Current review status
The initial health resources were prepared from the named public sources and reviewed editorially on August 2, 2026. They have not yet received independent clinical review. This status will remain visible until a verified reviewer completes that work.
